We are doing a new thing at CMER 2026! To mark the occasion of our tenth retreat, we are offering a Mini-Retreat option in addition to our Standard Retreat. The Mini-Retreat may be combined with the Standard Retreat or taken on its own.
The Mini-Retreat begins on Thursday with a lovely meal at The Hideaway followed by a presentation by ’26 plenary speaker, Art Middlekauff, on Mason’s foundational twenty principles. Then we will gather for dessert and a time with the CMER teens.
We start Friday morning off with a pre-breakfast immersion session with Art using Mason’s commentary on the Gospels in verse, The Saviour of the World.
After breakfast, we resume our immersion lessons with the CMER Planning Team tackling such subjects as history, geography, literature, Shakespeare, and more. Lunch follows, and we convene once more to go over the experience. What did we notice? Were there new ideas for us as a CM educators? What will we take-away?
And before you head home or into the Standard Retreat offerings, there is time for personal reflection or enjoying the beautiful surroundings at The Hideaway.
Whether you are new to CM or a veteran practitioner, we invite you to join us.
